How to Edit a Reclassification Journal

Welcome to the Papercare Working Papers help section. This guide will assist accountants in editing a reclassification journal within the software. Follow the steps below to make necessary adjustments to your reclassification journals.
How to Edit a Reclassification Journal
Step 1: Access the Reclassification Journal Tab
Navigate to the Reclassification Journal tab from the main menu under Journals.
Step 2: Locate the Journal
You will find a list of journals on this page.
Step 3: Choose the Journal to Edit
Against each journal, you will find options to View, Edit, or Delete.
Step 4: Edit the Journal
Click on the Edit icon to edit a journal.
Step 5: Select Transactions
Select the transactions you want to edit and then click on the Edit button.
Step 6: Reallocation Pop-Up
A pop-up will appear asking where to reallocate this transaction.
Step 7: Enter Client Code or Control Account
Enter the client code or alternatively enter the control account name.
Step 8: Enter Remarks and Submit
After entering remarks, click on the Submit button.
